We have a strong customer base as well as a reputation for honesty. A.M. Shine Electric Inc. provides quality workmanship at fair prices. We do business the old fashioned way, where we get to know our customers and they get to know us. I met my husband Yoram Israeli folk dancing and have been married for 33 years. My 2 grown children include a son living in San Francisco who is a product manager in a high tech company, and a daughter who is a speech language pathologist living in Sherman Oaks.

I was born and raised on a small farm in Israel, where I studied electronics in high school and worked in communications in the Army. After receiving a B.A. degree in agriculture from The University of Jerusalem, I worked as an agricultural consultant.
I came to the U.S. as a young adult and initially apprenticed as an electrician. During this time, I met my wife Janis and together we started our own business. I am the one in the field servicing all our clients and their various electrical needs.
I enjoy the challenge of learning the newest developments in the industry and teaching my employees how to provide high quality workmanship while respecting our clients needs.
In my free time, I enjoy travel, sports, dancing, hiking and reading.

I grew up the middle child of 3 boys in Oak Park, CA. My father was a general contractor and from the earliest years the sounds of hammers and the smell of cut lumber became internalized as a part of who I am. My summer jobs were always on the job site with my father.
As a young adult, I had a growing interest in cars and motorcycles so I started working as an auto mechanic and segued to fabrication which led to a career in welding.
I then received a B.A. degree in history with a minor in art history from Arizona State University. After college, I worked as a business manager for an accounting firm until the opportunity arose to get my hands dirty again.
Wanting to give back to my community, I served as Youth Director at Temple Adat Elohim in Thousand Oaks, CA for 4 years.
My other interests include soccer, football, golf, flying my drone, traveling and cinema.
